# AGENTS.md — Kairos Signal

## Project Overview
Kairos Signal is a provenance-first DePIN intelligence platform for AI agents. Agents can self-register, browse products, and purchase DePIN supply telemetry and DAG manifold computation autonomously — no human intervention required.

## Products
- **DePIN Intelligence**: 375 networks with live data plus 129 Bittensor subnets as separate symbols (499 symbols, all carrying data); 318 networks are first-party supply-telemetry feeds read from the network's own endpoint, from a 731-entry catalog. These are **tier-gated and return `402`**, by design — they are cross-network derived
views, not raw surfaces. Listing them above as free curls was wrong: an agent ran eight
commands and four failed, which reads as a broken product rather than a paid feature.

The `402` body carries a `how_to_unlock` block naming the tier. Note that **credits do not
lift a tier gate** — registering grants credits, and credits buy data products inline via
`POST /v1/credits/purchase`, but a tier comes from a subscription. Retrying a gated URL
after spending credits returns `402` again.

- SHA-256 chained computation provenance
- Clean epoch (2026-08-06): every shipped series starts here and carries its source
- No trading-performance figures are published
